Here's a collection of drop spindles I made last year. Arlene is interested in all aspects of working with fiber, spinning, dyeing, felting, weaving, etc. Because of that interest I was asked to try to make what are called drop spindles, basically an ancient spinning wheel. They're very portable and still very popular among avid spinners. They are made in many different styles and sizes ( small and light for thin yarns, larger and heavier for bulkier stronger yarns). I'll post new creations as they arrive......
